Sales Executive, Mendix

Gabriela studied Computer Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. She is based in Spain but has lived in the United States and France. She turned to Sales after several years in technical roles in software development and databases. She has worked in companies like IBM, Microsoft, and RedHat, where she specialized in Cloud, Infrastructure, and the software development lifecycle. 

She joined Siemens to lead the Mendix Sales in Iberia because, in her own words, she "believes that Low-code together with AI is the natural evolution of software development."

Carlos Ramos

CEO & Founder, ENSO ORIGINS

As a CEO and Founder of ENSO ORIGINS, Carlos also plays the role of tech coordinator and project manager. He has a Master in Computer Engineering by the Faculty of Science and Technology from the University of Coimbra, and started his 15+ years' career working for Instituto Pedro Nunes taking part and leading a team responsible for support of network infrastructures and datacenter technologies. Back in 2011, he decided to create ENSO after working in a national telecommunication operator project in Mozambique.

Francisco Antunes

Head of AI Development, ENSO ORIGINS

Francisco's academic background consists in a BSc and MSc in Mathematics from the University of Coimbra, but also a PhD in Transport Systems, focusing heavily on machine learning and data science tools and methodologies.

He was a research assistant and a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Denmark within the Machine Learning for Smart Mobility group.

Currently, he is a member of the Center for Informatics and Systems of the University of Coimbra and a Consultant in the overlapping areas of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Intelligent Transport Systems.

AI Product Manager, Hyland

Tiago Cardoso is the Group Product Manager for Artificial Intelligence at Hyland, spearheading strategic AI initiatives with a substantial Computer Science and AI background, complemented by over a decade of development experience across intelligent multimodal interfaces, web, mobile, and 3D applications.

Seven years ago, he transitioned to Product Management, allowing him to meld his technical expertise with leadership acumen. Today, he leads the product development for Nuxeo Insight and oversees the broader Hyland Experience Insight efforts. 

Tiago's commitment to staying abreast of emerging AI trends and his dedication to upholding ethical standards in AI applications underscores his contributions to the realm of AI-enabled business transformation.
